Extreme Velocity Mountains & Mud 4

As soon as this film arrived at the head office of ATV World Magazine, it was thrown into the closest DVD player we could find. We have gotten to know Thomas Opre and Tahoe Films, the producers of the Sled Heads and Mountains & Mud film series, pretty well. When a new film comes out from them, we are more than a little excited. We were not disappointed. Award-winning film director Thomas Opre has outdone himself once again. The incredible ATV footage in this film makes you feel like you’re right in the middle of the action. Did I say action? There is no shortage of it in this film. It's a wild ride to locations all over North America including: British Columbia, Utah, Montana, Alberta, Texas and Rubicon Trail in California. It's an adventure from beginning to end.

A new twist in this film series is the introduction of four extreme 4x4 Quadders.  Ken Hower, an ATV rock crawling extraordinaire, routes his quad over boulders the size of small cars on the Rubicon Trail. For the female ATV riders, Maggie Robertson, three-time Mud Nationals Woman’s Open Mud Bog Champion, shows you how to handle an ATV in the mud. Also introduced is Rory Roberg, a top mountain rider who was featured in the opening sequence of the previous film, Mountains & Mud 3. Seth Russell, supermod champion at the High Lifter Mud Nationals in 2008. Yes, you did get that right, we did mention rock crawling on an ATV. In fact, this film introduces us to a few enthusiasts who believe that if it can be done in a Jeep, it can be done on an ATV. The proof is in the pudding as you watch the action!

Don’t forget to hit the extras on the DVD. There is extensive coverage from the High Lifter Mud Nationals, with over 15,000 mud enthusiasts in attendance this past year down in Texas. It draws spectators from all over North America and abroad.

We don’t want to give too much of this film away, but this is definitely a film for any ATV enthusiast’s collection! Be sure to hit www.tahoefilms.com for more information. It is the only series of films dedicated to the 4x4 sport/utility riders, out on the market to date. Keep an eye out for the release of Mountains & Mud 5 next year.
